Social Tenants Access to Information (STAIRs)

STAIRs is a new standard introduced by the Government to enhance transparency for tenants of social housing providers.

Stage one comes into law in October 2026 when all registered providers of social housing must have a compliant publication scheme in place.

Stage two comes into law in April 2027 when all tenants will have a legal right to request information relating to the management of social housing. We are currently developing these processes and will let you know about them when they are introduced.

Some of the information that we are required to publish under STAIRs is already available on our website and we are currently working to collect any information that is missing by the October deadline.
