Business Support Officer
We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will support multiple service areas, helping deliver our Business Plan and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and legislation.
Ideal for someone with housing sector experience who is highly organised, proactive, and motivated to make a difference, this is a part-time role working 3 days per week (22.5 hours).
Salary is pro rata based on a full-time salary of £34,212.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, business, and project support across teams
- Capture, maintain, and analyse data to support performance monitoring and reporting
- Assist with policy development, service reviews, and implementation of improvements
- Support effective communication with residents, colleagues, Board members, and stakeholders
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role within a Housing Association, Local Authority, or social housing setting
- Strong understanding of social housing policy, compliance, and current sector challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting projects, service improvement, or compliance activities
- Knowledge of housing management systems or data analysis
